Wisconsin – Most of the state remains under a High Wind Warning after strong winds of up to 60 mph downed trees, power lines and left about 53,000 customers without power in Brown, Kewaunee, Oconto, Kenosha, Racine Counties yesterday. The Brown county EOC is at full activation.
An EF-1 tornado reportedly touched down in Racine and Kenosha counties damaging some homes, businesses and injuring two people.
Connecticut – Strong winds caused temperatures to plunge to about 10 -15 degrees resulting in power outages to more than 100, 000 customers and downed power lines. Power companies are working to restore power to every household. The Connecticut chapter opened a shelter yesterday.
Pennsylvania – Ridgebury had very strong winds and extremely low temperatures yesterday, it is not yet known whether there were power outages, downed power lines or damages.

New Jersey – Winds damaged property, downed power lines and left residents without electricity in Burlington County on Friday evening, July 31. The Chapter deployed DAT and provided canteen services to emergency responders.

Kansas – A winter storm moved through the state and brought snow, ice, and high winds that knocked out power and stranded travelers. The Mid-Way Kanasas Chapter and Cannonball Trail Chapter opened a warming center and fed hundreds of people staying in nearby hotels as well as emergency workers.

Hawaii - High wind gusts of up to 60 mph damaged homes in the Hawaiian Islands and prompted the evacuation of “at risk” residents in the affected areas early this morning. The Hawaii State Chapter opened 4 shelters were set up to house displaced residents.
