Florida – Severe Cold Weather in Palm Beach and Martin Counties prompted Emergency Management to request shelters for local area residents in the affected areas yesterday.
Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter opened a shelter for the cold weather at request of County Emergency Operations Center. Martin County Chapter also opened a shelter and both chapters provided mass care to the residents.
