Disaster Alert
North Carolina – Heavy rain over the past two days caused flooding in Cherokee County yesterday.
Additional rain is expected tonight which may cause additional flooding from rivers and creeks.
The Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter has placed two shelter teams on stand-by.
Chapter will continue communications with their government partners and monitor the situation.
