Massachusetts – The American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter is still working to assist those affected by Friday’s explosion on Worthington Street in Springfield. Red Cross responders have been working with clients at the multi-agency service center set up at 436 Dwight Street to determine needs and assist with recovery. A Red Cross team has also been working outside the service center distributing clean up supplies to those in need. They will be at the center this afternoon until its closing at 4:00pm.

The Red Cross provided several hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks to utility workers and first responders over the past three days. The feeding operation ended this afternoon at 3:00pm.
