Massachusetts – An explosion occurred in Hampden County that destroyed a building, damaged others and prompted the evacuation of residents in downtown Springfield on Friday.
The Pioneer Valley Chapter deployed two teams, provided canteen services to emergency responders, supported a city-run shelter with logistics as well as Mass Care back-up for residents in the affected area and placed a government liaison at the Incident Command Unit.
