Georgia – Six school buses that travelled from Burke County collided on a highway in Newton County, caused multiple injuries and sent scores of students to the hospital for examination on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter deployed Disaster Action Team members and provided assistance as needed to passengers as they boarded buses back to Burke County.
The Augusta Chapter provided Mutual Aid upon the students’ return.
