Disaster Alert
Texas – Excessive rainfall in several counties throughout the state caused flooding that damaged hundreds of homes, threatened others, created power outages and prompted evacuations on Monday.
The Coastal Bend-Texas Chapter deployed Disaster Action Team members, communicated with local Emergency Management, opened a shelter, collaborated with another organization for Mass Care, provided bulk distribution to affected-area residents and is doing Disaster Assessment.
