New York – About fifteen residents of the Highland Hotel were relocated after a fire damaged 3 units and affected the utility box of several others prompting authorities to turn off power to some units yesterday.
The ARC of Mid-Hudson Valley provided lodging for the affected residents, opened a reception center and plans to open a service center this morning.
The chapter will provide cots, blankets and refreshments from an Emergency Response Vehicle to the affected residents if necessary.
