Disaster Alert: Severe Weather in California

Disaster Alert

California – Violent winds, that knocked trees down onto homes and vehicles, and left hundreds of thousands of residents without power in portions of the state on Thursday. A State of Emergency was declared in Los Angeles County.

The San Gabriel Pomona Valley Chapter deployed Disaster Action Team, opened a shelter and provided assistance as needed for dozens of overnight residents.
