Massachusetts – The winter storm affected the state with gusty winds and heavy snow that caused hazardous road conditions, downed trees as well as power lines. The FEMA report showed as of 10 am Sunday 593,741 customers without power. A State of Emergency was declared.

Massachusetts Chapters opened 12 shelters / warming centers, provided Mass Care and staffed state and local Emergency Operation Centers.

New Hampshire – The winter storm continued to affect the state with gusty winds and heavy snow that caused hazardous road conditions, downed trees as well as power lines. The FEMA report showed as of 10 am Sunday 353,151 customers without power.

Disaster Action Team members from the Granite Chapter opened 2 shelters, provided material support to others, provided Mass Care, and staffed the state Emergency Operations Center.
