Connecticut – The winter storm continued to affect the state with gusty winds and heavy snow that caused hazardous road conditions, downed trees as well as power lines. As of 10 am Sunday the FEMA report showed 763,753 customers without power. Multiple deaths were reported. The Governor declared a State of Emergency for the entire state. Power restoration estimates are between one week and two weeks.

Connecticut chapter organized Disaster Action Team members, opened 13 shelters, supported others, opened warming centers, provided Mass Care and staffed state Emergency Operation Center.
