Disaster Alert: Wildfire in New Mexico

Disaster Alert

New Mexico – A new/additional fire prompted the evacuation of 300 people on the border of Lincoln and Chavez Counties yesterday. Fire size is unconfirmed but media reports about 150 acres at 0% containment as of 11pm Eastern Time Tuesday.

The American Red Cross in Southeastern New Mexico opened a shelter and provided mass care for affected residents.
