South Carolina – A landfill with unknown materials burned for several hours and prompted evacuations for dozens of homes within the affected area. The Central South Carolina chapter deployed a Disaster Action Team (DAT), opened a shelter, and dispatched an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) to provide canteen services for emergency responders and provided Mass Care (MC) for the shelter residents.
