Wisconsin – A fire at a meat packing plant that contained large amounts of ammonia prompted the evacuation of thousands of residents living within a one-mile radius of facility in Milwaukee County on Monday.
The Southeastern Wisconsin chapter deployed Disaster Action Teams, dispatched an Emergency Response Vehicle, opened a shelter, staffed the county Emergency Operations Center and provided canteen services for emergency responders.
