Washington Floods: Online Resources

Significant rain has caused a flood event in Seattle and other areas of western Washington State. Here are a few online resources for those affected by the floods:

  • Red Cross shelter locations in WA State [link updated 1.9.09]
  • Register as Safe & Well if you or a loved one has evacuated.
  • Twitter: Use #waflood to aggregate what people are saying about the flooding.
  • View a photo slideshow from the Washington State Patrol [link added 1.12.09]
